the second issue deals with retreating units and is a 1.03 beta addition. I think this is what is happening. retreating units get attacked again by the winning units at the beginning of each new day. I don't know why this was added but it needs to be removed.

what happens to me is that at 1 am each day i have a couple to new combats start. i then have to go into each battle and tell my retreating units to disengage the combat and retreat again. i had to do this for the total number of days that they are retreating, a lot of extra clicking to say the least. It ruins the game. i have also seen the ai vs. ai, just run over units and they disappear.

I have listed this in several other threads and i hope the DEVS are taking a good look at it and are going to remove it for 1.03beta 10.

We fixed the retreat problem in beta9

I hate when games like this have all kinds of scripted events. The gameplay should be that "balanced" and controlled by researched things and so on that events would kinda happen randomly without any script. For example you could use propaganda to achieve that. Not it just magically happen. Same thing would be cool with Finland for example: When USSR attacks, you could try to give your people spirit to fight back like they did in real life and encourage civilians to use guerrilla tactics. Everything would kinda work with same rules, not any miracles like many of those events.
