And so, I've been gone for a long time.
- Cyrillic: Fixed information messages about elections in another country, corrected a message about an event that occurred in another country and defeat box - add casualties.

- For all languages: and also (yes, I play vanilla scenarios) - fixed the end message in the Battle of the Coral Sea scenario if Japan wins. The game referenced actioName, and the .csv file contains actioNName - now you can press the "Banzai!" button!

P.S. It has been noticed that the Cyrillic alphabet fully works in the files armynames, airnames, navynames. This is me to the riddle about missing letters in unitnames. Perhaps something with the gfx picture of the production window?

How do you like trying to create a loading screen? The first two top ones are pretty terrible - one is ugly, the second is a Soviet font from transformer stations or trains. Bottom - I used the same text as in the original, but it does not support the Latin alphabet. It's lucky that the name of the game in Russian does not contain complex letters. That's why everything is written in English letters. In the word АРСЕНАЛ, the last letter Л is an inverted V. Letters ИИ - inverted NN. I had to make the letter Д myself from a special symbol, a cube and the letter M. Unfortunately, the planes between the original letters A L in the word ARSENAL have disappeared:((

I'll take a look now. First, I'll download Paint.NET. I processed the graphics and all screenshots in ArcGIS CorelDraw (CorelPhotoPaint). I don't have a Google Drive link and I don't deserve one.
 
Wow! I have seen that! Color image - means transition to color icons. I like the main theme with the battleship (USA?):p:p. I don't really like the planes in the foreground. Black planes - perhaps it could do a little less. But I’m not an artist, at most I made posters for anime quizzes

I'm not an artist either. I could reduce the number of the black planes (they're B-24 bombers escorted by F-4 Corsairs). The other planes, in the foreground, are Dauntless Douglas SBD dive bombers. I couldn't find any good naval photos and aircraft, so I made this from 4 different phots I colorized. I would really like to do more introduction screens...Soviet, Germany, Japanese, UK, France, China and possible more. However I'll leave that to modders and concentrate on the C+++ code.
I don't deserve one.

I can create a completely Soviet collage. I thought about adding New York/Chicago skyscrapers and more factory lines, but decided against it. Still, the name of the game refers to the military and industrial power of the United States, and for this reason I decided to add their equipment. US Marine Corps - I came across some not entirely successful photographs and added Stalingrad.
 
What I was going to do, is have the code look into the ..\gfx\skins for country specific backgrounds for each technology screen. Also when the game first launches, to have multiple game introduction screens where players can rename the one they want to be their launch screen. But for now, It would be a great help if you could do a launch screen with Russian/Cyrillic language. It could still show the factories and skylines of the US.

Did you get the emails with the links or able to download the game from the Google drive?

Well, they are using the Western European Windows-1252 encoding. Right now To get all of the Polish and Russian letters to work I have to run the events and scenario descriptions through two processes. I have a Notepad++ page where if:
• Polish, I set the encoding to Eastern European Windows-1250, copy in the Polish, change the encoding to Western European Windows-1252, and copy that converted text into the file.
• Russian, I set the encoding to Cyrillic Windows-1251, copy in the Russian, change the encoding to Western European Windows-1252, and copy that converted text into the file.

If it was originally done with UTF-8 none of this would be required but within the code is where the Polish and Russian characters are "translated." Additionally, it's just not the ..\unitnames.csv file that has this restriction but with all the files in the ..\config directory.

You describe how you correctly edit text in different languages in csv files with notepad++ (although I preferred to stitch the text from UTF-16 files with the program, converting for each column to the desired encoding).
But why are there these restrictions on characters in the game engine? Why can't I use character code 255 for the unitnames.csv file (but this is possible in all other CSV files)?

And your example with notepad++ in your regional version of Windows. Windows has "Language of Non Unicode Program" setting and for other language versions of Windows it will be slightly different.

Wow!!! Yes, I downloaded it - it looks graceful, I noticed some features. Reworked technologies, new icons and pictures (although I am a supporter of black and white design). New photos of units, very good. Faster pace of policy change, more human resources. I didn't really like the screen of the armored vehicles - it's yellow. It's just too colorful and the letters are harder to read.
I understand, okay, then I’ll make a Russian menu screen (with Lend-Lease coravans). With the Statue of Liberty and the Kremlin - they will be translucent.
