Runtime Error - starting game with mods

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right forum, because mods are involved... but I need your technical support
Always when I try to start CKII with a mod selected, I see the loading screen for just a few seconds and then directly get a "Runtime Error" -> "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way"

I updated my "Lux Invicta" mod and CKII is in the right version (2.0.4), interresting is that also when I try to start my "Kings and Witches" mod, I have the same problem
-> it shouldn't be a personal problem of the mod

my system is a Win 7; 64 Bit; 4 GB Ram
I already followed the "IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS" given on the official page in the forum
Some time ago, both mods worked without a problem, but I am not sure since when they don't...

If it works without a mod, then it's a mod issue and the wrong subforum indeed.

Lux Invictas' latest versionv0.6K2 is for vanilla patch 2.2.1 by the way.

edit: I wouldn't recommend to do what is mentioned in the "important installation instructions" for a 64bit OS. Should be completely unnecessary as well for a 64bit OS.

I'm getting Runtime Errors and/or random CTD's!!!
a) make sure you have ALL face-pack DLC's if you're also using the DLC-requisite optional LI-BLC addon...

Thank you very much! The awful mistake was to select CKII version 2.0.4... I read it would be the right version, but as you said: you need 2.2.1! What an idiotic mistake
But really thank you very much, you ended an awful evening, I was jumping through way too much forumthreads etc!
