Running on a low end computer

I want to get this game but I have a pretty low end computer. Therefore I was wondering if there was a way to lower the requirements and if so, to what level? As in what would the requirements be?

You can ease some of the graphics strain by turning off a lot of the eye candy, but the real limit is the CPU. To get decent performance you need a fast, modern processor. And no, having a bajillion cores won't help. Dual core is plenty, but you want a high speed.

Depends how you define low end PC, posting your specs would help a lot.
