Victoria Improvement Project (VIP): Events
United Modification Project (UMP): Everything else (dynamic play, AI, economy, new countries); Victory-X + Victoria Community Mod
Is that pretty much it?

There are other mods, but these are the two major ones, I think.

VIP took the approach of trying not to change too many things outside of POPs, province resources, and events. (With the addition of some new countries.) The focus is historical accuracy, detail, and versimilitude. UMP focuses more on gameplay issues.
