HOI4 is no longer a continuation of HOI3 but rather a whole new game design. In addition in the past two years while we waited many many new HOI3 players have joined our ranks and also were anticipating HOI4's release. I hope that the game has a much more detailed set of rules and better tutorials than some in the past have had. It will prove very beneficial.

The game infact has a propper tutorial this time. You are playing Italy and they teaching you the basics of the game that you need to play it.

Good. Too many new players and novices get lost easy. That should be a big help.
