Rules of Conduct for Paradox Interactive Twitch Chat.
The Rules of Conduct are subject to change without notice. It is each users responsibility to ensure that they are aware of the current rules and guidelines for posting.
Users shall at all times respect and refrain from harassing and/or personally attacking other users or the staff of Paradox. Users need to respect the rights of other users to have their own and maybe differing opinions. Users shall not post any messages that are considered foul, vulgar, sexually harassing, racially offensive or in any way discriminatory. This includes, but is not limited to, sexist language, ethnic slurs, hate speech and religious epithets. Paradox and it's moderation team may, in its sole discretion, remove any such messages from the chat.
Furthermore, users may not posts any messages that are inflammatory with the perceived intent to rile people up (i.e. "trolling" and "flaming"). Chain letters, pyramid schemes and solicitations of any kind are not allowed in chat.
Users are responsible for the security of their Account. Any post or message from a user's Account will be attributable to the Account holder. It is the Account holder’s responsibility to keep the Account secure. It is no defense to say that a sister, brother, friend, or someone else posted an objectionable message in chat. Therefore, we strongly urge users to keep your password secret.
Users agree not to attempt to, or aid others to, bypass security measures in an effort to post in chat. These measures include, but are not limited to; re-registering new user names to bypass bans, bypassing these rules of conduct in an effort to post prohibited content (example spoofing URLs), or attempts to obtain privileges only available to Paradox staff.
Messages with the incentive to sell, buy, or trade products or services, links to auctions, affiliate links, links to promote personal or commercial websites, blogs, personal social media channels and other forums is not allowed without the permission of Paradox.
Users may not message any illegal content, or links to illegal content. Users may not post or message any material, or links to such material, which:
If, for any reason, you are in violation of any these Rules of Conduct, then your privileges to post to the Paradox Interactive chat will be reviewed by a Paradox Moderator/Administrator. The penalties range from a friendly warning, a timeout to a ban from the chat.
Paradox chat staff (Moderators and Administrators) have the final say over what constitutes a violation of the Rules of Conduct. Paradox reserves the right to timeout or ban your Twitch account from taking part in the Paradox Interactive chat without warning and without further explanation. Moderators and Administrators are used to keep the content in-line with Paradox’s vision and purpose of the chat.
All administrative actions taken by the chat staff should be considered a settled matter. These actions include, but are not limited to: banning, warnings and timeouts. Users that wish to contest a decision should send a PM to the Paradox Interactive account on Twitch. Any decision given from there is final and not subject to debate.
