I don't know if there's such a thing as dropping dead from depression.

I suggest replacing this possibility with an event for committing suicide, one for seeking hep with your mental issues, etc.

Suicide is already in the game and requires depression. Death by stress and depression are different, you don't technically die of the condition but die with them as contributing factors. It isn't like there is death by stroke, breathing difficulties etc.
