I'm currently reading the rulebook and am confused about the wording in one part and have noticed a missing bit of rules clarification in another part.

On . 12:

What's the order of operations on this? o_O It should probably have been worded more clearly.

On p. 14:

Does each adjacent territory to the target that is owned by another dynasty that's in a pact give one more trait check or do you just get one extra trait check for each dynasty?

There is no "Action" phase to the game ... just a "Turns" ... [phase]....

Then there's the list of effects on pages 11 and 12...

One of the effects that's not mentioned is that duchies generate one less gold in taxation ... which is not in this list but is instead on page 15:

Good that you can reference back to page 11, not good that it's not listed in one of the major duchy factors. When you get to upkeep, you might rediscover (rather painfully) that you're poorer for franchising out.

Does each adjacent territory to the target that is owned by another dynasty that's in a pact give one more trait check or do you just get one extra trait check for each dynasty?
Based on how I'd read it, the first one is that you get a check, and if you pass you can pay 3 gold and build a castle. If you fail, you .. I dunno can't find a supplier for the building materials or an architect or something.

The second seems to be per dynasty (or per pact really), rather than per province?
Based on how I'd read it I mean.
