In the era that the game is going to be set, Royal Marriages were obviously a thing. But at the same time, there was no limit to them. You could have a royal marriage between Greeks and Persians (Alexander-Stateira), Greeks and Indians (post Seleucid-Mauryan war) and so on.
Paradox games usually do not allow royal marriages unless the religion is shared. Back then, religion was more, let's call it, lax, so these things did not matter. Should I be hoping to see this in the game?
Also, there's the issue of polygamy but that will complicate things. Alexander for example had 3 wives, his father also had 3 wives I think. There's obviously no problem, as in the EU series, with multiple royal marriages, but since this will also have an enhanced character system in comparison, is it going to be reflected or am I asking for too much? Think of the plots of spouse killing!
