I just suggested this on Fabliki's latest Skylines video, it would be very handy have a series of one way roads without zoning that has a pavement on one side (ideally 2 versions of each road, left hand drive version with the pavement on the right and right hand drive with pavement on the left) so that we can make roundabouts where the pedestrians can walk around the outside (AKA how it works in real life) without using highways, and therefore needing to place paths (which is either messy or needing heavy use of Move It) or them walking over to the middle of the roundabout.
If it is possible (more towards Paradox than workshop makers) it could work for zoning on one side only with the pavement for more heavily built up areas where shops are on the outside of roundabouts.
