Figured i could use some more action once in a while, so i decided to make this.

Let's make some ground rules then.
What i generally want to do, is to see how long it takes to finish a conquest of Europe, and beyond.

- No cheats beyond "nofog" allowed, so i can't move those sliders like i usually do, only once in a year like normal.

- I have to take all of europe, no mercy, no allies, no puppets.

- 5 months max buildup against Soviets after conquest of Europe is finished.

- When Soviet Union is finished, i can choose to take bitter peace or continue, but after that, within 1 month, i must declare on all of Asia.

- After this, i can freely build navy and reorganize, and finish the AAR in a timeframe of my choosing. (Since by this time, i should prolly have some action in the other AAR aswell.

- Game skill medium, and AI aggressiveness at normal. No tech team or full IC takeover. End year: 1964.

Chapter One: Growing Pains.

Hitler was sitting in his office, but he was not happy at the planned pace at which his advisors suggested that he would expand the German reich.

What the advisors suggested was in part diplomatic backed by military strength and massing troops at the borders in question.
What Hitler had in mind was quickly building large stacks of infantry, and use the base of Schliefen plan to quickly march through low countries and into Paris. The eastern european countries were not likely to react, as their military was at best only enough to defend their own borders.

So Hitler chose his own way, and the military buildup would surprise the entire western Europe indeed.

First order of business would be the expansion of the German Luftwaffe. The current luftwaffe was very much bomber oriented, but the war with the allies would require more fighters and interceptors to combat the British and French air flotillas. Therefore the construction of 2x4 new interceptor groups were ordered for construction. Also, existing military equipment would need to be upgraded to reflect some proper level of commitment. Never go in half-cocked!

The research focus also reflected the path that Germany was taking. Instead of bothering our little minds with such vanities as Super heavy battleships, zeppelins, and Chuck Norris brigades, we were taking a more effective road, and that road was a shitload of armor supperted by even larger shitload of infantry. Although the production was still set for air power increase, infantry and armor was sure to follow soon after.

f_res1m_a89b51c.png

The large number of professional trained spies within the borders of Germany was a growing cause for concern. If this was allowed to continue, then i might suffer the fate of every other country that wasnt USA, France or Britain in my other round the world AAR, and have my production of everything and research too disrupted by Amerinoobs by every 2 weeks. So, Hitler ordered the training of our own proper counter-intelligence force that would be tasked with the liquidation of enemy spies in dark alleyways and train stations. Broad daylight in the middle of the steps of the Reichstag was going to be fine too, but there's just that something in an Ameican spy laying face down in some dark alleyway.

Ugh.. so anyways. Now that Hitler had made his point pretty clear to the rest of german elite, it was time to get some work done.

Although Hitler seems to be one powerhungry mofogga.. He still loves humor and good times, as evident of this "Easter Hitler" taken outside with his loyal dog "Blitzkrieg".

January 4. 1936, the German army crossed into Rhineland and ended the allied oppression of the Versailles treaty. The allies protested, but Hitler cared very little of what they say most of the time anyway. Unless it has to do with cookies or gifts.

May 5th 1937, The world was shocked by the news, that Germany had attacked it's small neighbor Beligium in a surprise attack, that took the entire Belgian army by surprise. The following day, the Allies lef by Britain announced their counter declaration on Germany. World War 2 had begun.

Hitler was overjoyed at the news of the initial successes, but news of the French breaking through towards Freiburg and from there continuing to Munich made his balls boil.

The army high command immediately ordered the main spearhead of the operation to encircle the French Maginot line from behind, it was a daring operation, but in case of success, would solve every problem Germany would have to face from any of the European countries ever again. As the Americans didn't seem to care, it was all just aswell.

Like so:

f_maginotpockm_d8884a5.png

If this worked, the mighty Maginot line would become the mighty Maginot pocket, and the tomb of about half the French armies.

And it seems to work even better than i thought... Although my guys in Stuttgart are undder attack and ultimately had to retreat north, the French will be crushed pretty soon to find out their precious little fort at the border will be used against the French themselves who have owned themselves into Germany.

Mulhouse is totally open for attack.

In the 9th of June it was clear that Maginot was screwed.

It was the idea of some in the government that we should seek allies in our ultimate struggle in ridding the world of Communism, but Hitler disagreed. Who needs treaties when you can just take over their lands?

By July, it was just a formality..

Capture of Paris: Aug. 2.

Vichy... Why?

Then the Soviets drop a bomb by declaring war on Germany on August 11.

The war for western Europe is almost over. To prevent the Allies from garrisoning the Gib rock with about a million divisions, i will attack it first, drive out the divisions there to positions which are harder to defend. This also will close the Mediterranean from the allies almost completely.

Also, the Luftwaffe scored it's first CV kill. The carrier Béarn, 1300 sailors, 50 pilots and other crew + dozens of aircraft went to the bottom of the atlantic.
