March 1941.

At long last, the time has come when Germany once again stands among the great seafaring nations of the world. The Kriegsmarine, pride of the reich has been restored to it's rightful status as a serious contender in the high seas.

The new navy consists of 3 aircraft carriers of the Seydlitz class, 5 Bismarck class battleships, 5 Scharnhorst class battlecruisers, 12 Hipper class heavy cruisers and 5 Nürnberg class light cruisers.
The fleet is intended to operate as follows. The heavy cruisers are the workhorse of the navy, engaging smaller ships, hunting enemy commerce and lure out bigger enemy ships in small groups. The larger ships, battleships and battlecruisers will engage enemy ships of the same class, while the carriers provide air strikes and air superiority in engagements. The light cruisers are tasked with the protection of of battlegroups with their massive array of anti-air weaponry.

It is the hope of German high command, that these ships will keep the north sea clear, until the shipyards have completed the ships intended for the baltic fleet, and are able to start mass production of more advanced class of carriers and super heavy battleships.

Yeah, what is that value anyway? :p i never understand some of the things in this game.. I just play it.

that value is the capial ships/screens ratio. If there are more Capital ships than screens the fleet wil be less effective. a 15/15 combination should be good.
P.S: and don't put BBs and CVs in the same fleet, it isn't wise

yeah i'm really sorry to say this, but thats probably the coolest but most inefficient battle fleet i've ever seen.

yeah well the role of CVL's is to provide air cover for the battle ships, which in the game allows them to close with CV's and destroy them. CVs and Battleships dont work together because the CV's attack from long range whilst all the battleship usually does is linger out of range and slow the fleet down. as i understand it.

I bet my fleet is real good against the Soviet navy though.

You could just rename your current HoI folder and use the repair function in the install, so it will make you a new fresh HoI folder. As for the save, I guess it should work, if you have the same mod(s) active and the game version is the same. But if you use a mod save on the fresh installation (no mods), the save game will surely have some kind of problems, if it even works...

Yeah, it's not working at all.... :| Oh well, i can replay surely up until this point and then see what next. It's going to take some time tho, so this AAR is on hold for a while. Maybe i'll even get the WiF mod working and can use that on this one! :D

I don't know if it can help but ussual way of instaling multiple mods is to:
Instal HOI
Mod it.
Copy the folder containing modded HOI (copy not move). Repair, uninstall or reinstall original.
if you need a new mod, return to step one.
