Rome VS Carthage

Why most people play with Rome and not with Carthage?
I like to play with Carthage because I am with war with biggest empire and that is intresting, to defeat biggest empire in the game!!!

Well at the earliest date of the game Carthage is actually bigger and richer then Rome.

Question is in the later date when carthage have only mainland and some little provinces???

Yeah u can choose to start at any year u want including when Carthage has become much weaker and smaller at the expense of Rome.
