Well, Exiling the Pope to a Soviet POW camp in Siberia could work, but i was thinking more along the lines of editing some file to remove the reason that the Cb occurs.

Does the CB on whomever controls Rome ever end during the period of EU2? Or does it end after a certain year/event? I can see it being very useful to sneaky players in case 1. Allow/help some nation to conquer Rome, and then *BAM* free CB on them, assuming you are Catholic. Permanent free CB's are rather hard to come by...
