Rome Install Error on Vista 64

Hi - we're trying to install Rome but keep getting the following installation error. The computer is a Vista 64 bit system, with the latest version of DirectX. It gets to 100% installed and then the following pops up:

CRC error: The file C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis - Rome\tutorial\rebel_flag.tga doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor.

Yes.

A good idea would be to register the game, and a better one would be to post in the tech support forums instead.

Obviously if RachelTX hasn't used these forums before she might not be aware
of that. Not necessary to be so short with her.

RachelTX you would get the most help if you registered this game and posted
your question in the Tech Support forum that way those who normally troll
that forum can help you out.

I too have installed this game on a Vista 64-bit system but didn't receive any
problems beyond what are widespread bugs with launch and close of the
game. You can easily find solutions for those problems in the Tech Support
forum as well. So as BurningEGO has stated, the best way to find a solution
to your problem is to register your copy of the game.

It would also help when you post there to include more detailed information
such as which version of the game you're playing with, if you're using any
mods, if the game was downloaded from the net or installed from disc, etc.

Good luck finding a solution, I find this game to be enjoyable and hope you
can as well.
