Hi, I tried running Rome Gold on my 2007 Dell Dimension E520 desktop and it wouldn't. I uninstalled it, and now my Dell is unusably slow...what's going on? Any suggestions on how to fix it? And why do you think the game didn't run - not enough graphics on my PC?

Aside from using up a little disk space, installing and uninstalling Rome should have made no difference to your machine (assuming you simply ran the supplied uninstaller). I suspect you have some other unrelated hardware or Windows problem, as far as that goes.
What exact problem did you have with Rome? Wouldn't install, wouldn't run, or what? Any errors or messages?

Yes, the fix is still the same and is known to fix this problem. The slowness is probably something else entirely, like malware. Scan your machine with at least 3 different utilities, Avast and AVG are two good free ones I know of.
