- Start as Wallachia
- Declare war on both Poland and Moldova at the same time
- Make sure you have a big enough army in Bucharest that Moldova sends their army east and not south.
- After a little bit quickly run in and put sieging stacks on both Moldovan provinces.
- Wait a while. The Horde might come help you by assaulting, but don't rely on it.
- Annex Moldova. Poland should be offering a white peace by now.
- Get military access from Hungary/Transylvania; send your whole army there.
- Let the Horde fully occupy you. Lower military funding to 0 to make it faster.
- You're now a horde vassal. Start insulting the Ottomans.
a. If the Ottomans have not yet been dismembered by Castille + Venice + Naples, they'll declare war on you eventually. This will drag in the horde.
- Let the horde kill them, and occupy the one province you need from them.
b. If the Ottomans have been dismembered by the Latins, just wait.
- Wait.
- Wait.

- Break vassalage when the Horde's Khan dies.
- Hope Austria doesn't own Transylvania yet.
Though the Romanian Nation decision is pretty bad I have to say, as is the map around that whole region. But eh, if you don't care about pretty borders, it shouldn't bother you much.

This is the most interesting game plan I have ever read.
My housemate formed Romania as Wallachia. From watching most of it, it was a bloody hard fight against the horde and Ottomen. Then he went and did it in MEIOU too.
Meh. It may be boring, and arguably cheap, but it's effective/reliable.
AI Moldavia formed Romania in my game once. It was so strange -the Ottomans were taken down by Milan
I've tried and made it ... But i had to wait for 80 years in high speed

Silesia
It's called Silistra. And it's not even Romanian, it's Bulgarian. IDK why you need it to form.
I didn't enter in the EU3 game since yesterday so please forgive me if i forgot the name And it is UTTERLY Romanian ! 4EVER !
I did with Wallachia at about 1505. It was more luck than anything. The Timurids were my unofficial allies that game. They destroyed the Ottoman armies and took most of Anatolia. Venice declared on the Ottomans and blocked the straights. I jumped on the bandwagon and took all the required provinces to form Romania plus a few extra. After that it really wasn't too difficult as Hungary got jumped by Austria/Poland which allowed me to grab Transylvania without fighting a serious opponent. The scariest war came from a super Croatia that formed upon Hungary's demise while I was waiting for the cores.
And it is UTTERLY Romanian ! 4EVER !
The Quadrilateral was controlled by Wallachia in 1389-1393, 1393-1395, and 1404-1420. It was controlled by Romania in 1913 and 1919-1940. At the time of World War I, less than 3% of the Quadrilateral's was Romanian; there was some ethnic settlement done throughout the interbellum period, but Bulgarians remained in the majority, and after a population exchange at the end of World War II the Romanian population went back to being less than 3% of the total. I have no numbers from the 14th century, but it seems the population ratio was similar to that of 1910 (minus the Turkish population of course).

Quadrilateral it is Romanian because Bulgaria doesn't have a proper Cassus Belli on it, a core or a conquest mission

also look at what my game produced as a surprise for me .. since we are on the topic .. i expended my influence to them but they decided it's a good move to attack one of my allies soon to become vassal ..
So they are on their own now .. struggling but alive ..

Well, Silistra is practically only the southern part of that province. It should be called Dobruja.
On a related note, has anyone ever survived as Wallachia on the 1456 start? There's a certain ruler at that time who would make for an amusing AAR... I've tried a few times, and the only possible way seems to be to stay quiet and pray that the Austrians or Mamluks take the Ottomans down before you get eaten.
