I was just wondering if there was a mod for CK that is based around the Roman era ? And if there is one, where can I find it ?

no but there is a game based on ck set in the roman era.

Yeah I know about Rome : Vae Victis, but it doesn't quite feel as good as CK. Maybe a LOTR mod then ?
Or another game like CK that focusses on dynasties rather then countries ?

LOTR mod would be epic! Yeah Rome is nothing like CK, there arnt even any factions to play against, which was something primary in roman politics. All you get occasionally is a civil war when the popularists get angry if another Consul gets elected. which always seems to happen when you are fighting carthage!

have you tried Westeros Mod? based on the books The Saga of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin?

its a total conversion mod. and very good!
