Roman Empire should be a formable nation.

I was kind of disappointed the Roman Empire was not in-game. I would make sense for it to be able to be formed by Byzantium, or possibly some other Roman Successor state. The files are there, I see they have their own EU4 based ideas too. It would be great if they exist.

For the one hundred time.. BYZANTIUM IS NOT THE ROMAN EMPIRE! Yes, It is the Eastern Roman Empire, but not the complete one. The Roman empire was divided in the Western and Eastern empire.
It is like you have number 4 , you divide it with 2, and then say that 2 is 4.
Roman empire should exist.
A decision to form it that requires the dead western roman empire's most important provinces, and of course Byzantium's too, should be awesome.

Some will disagree with me again and again and quote what I said. I want to ask them : And what's the problem if there would be a decision? Would the game be unplayable? No. If some people wants to play roman empire let them do that

that explains why in their time they were called the roman empire. No one called them byzantium. Their citizens were called Romans, not byzantines.

123. Here is a history lesson which has been repeated countless times. The Eastern Roman Empire/Byzantium Empire(Both names which weren't even used at that time) was literally the Roman Empire, once again. You can't use numbers like 4/2 as an example, because, here is a tip. Mathematics != Politics/Nations/Empires.

Firstly austria never lost wiena,its as austrian as its ever going to be,if austria lost all of austria,moved to budapest and started speaking hungarian it would no longer be austria but hungary.

There should deffinatly be a decision to rebuild rome for any nation controling all of old romes territory,and any nation back then would have done it given the chance,hell a century after the games timeframe a certain italian dictator was still trying to do it.

For your austria question that depends. Did austria fanatically admire the hungarians and copy them repetitively? Did austria just appoint a second ruler to rule hungry's part of the empire and then have the other ruler fall? Was austrian only the majority culture among austria's rulers?

The last Latin dying didn't cause Roman Empire to fall afterall, I don't understand why the Empire should stay the same when there are so many things happening in the world, religions and dominant languages changing all the time, states falling and rising and people migrating like crazy. In such a envorinment, Empire could never stay the same and it doesn't need to.

because both emperors consiedered it one, as did the barbarians and persia and the huns.
But did you seriously ask how I know history? How do you know britain controlled india? How do you know ming was a single entity? How do you know genghis khan existed? How do you know that the USA went to war with britain for its independance? How do you know russia conquered siberia? How do you know austria-hungary was a single entity?
