i just created the roman empire, but i have a lot of territory's that are about to drift into the ERE( now gone), will i have to wait over 100 years for it to drift into the roman empire or will it continue under the name of the ere
Unfortunately, yea.
Is there however an advantage to the de jure drift? If that land wasnt yours already, you would get claims... but since you already have it... ? I thought this was mostly cosmetic.
Vassals in areas that are not in your de jure territory are more likely to revolt and seek independence.
You get a -20 from "desires kingdom/empire" once they drifted into your de jure territory. Which has the same effect.
all dukes or counts within you empire's/kingdom's 'de jure' that have your culture/religion will never join an independence faction, that's pretty dam usefulI don't quite understand why this feature was added. What's the purpose of it?
