Finally had enough time to really get into the game and play, passed smithson now.

I've done about 70 missions, no reloads.

Meat:
Behemoth KIA "liberating" the Argo.
Glitch KIA on random mission.
I have ejected once. Lots of injuries. Probably average 1 per mission and a half.

Metal:
Dropping with 260 tons max now. Largest Mech I have is 70 tons. Largest I have seen is 75 tons.

Missions:
Most of this has already been observed.. but here goes;
The skulls ratings can be way off, however combined with the mission briefings and updates are still a good guideline.
I did the liberate the Argo mission with the original lance. In hindsight (when I play through again) I would not do this mission until I had 4 mediums (Behemoth paid the price)
1 mission failure, defend a base, dont lose all the buildings (hahahaha). Dropped with all 260, ending up facing 9 mechs, nothing smaller than 50t. So 260 against about 500, all the buildings got destroyed (did not lose any metal or meat).

Bugs:
Saw the memory leak for the first time last night. Appears to be caused by sitting on one screen. I walked away, left the game running, came back about 90 minutes later, and Windows was complaining about out of memory. I was able to kill enough running processes to get back into BT and successfully save my game. Played all day Saturday and did not see this, but did not sit on one screen for hours.

Video card:
I have the listed minimum card (560 ti). The game crushes it (totally expected it to). Was running at 190f (which I was not comfortable with). I took the card apart and cleaned the cards heat sink and fan. That got me to about 185.Took my case apart and modified the airflow through the case. That got me down to 175 (in my comfort zone). Above 180 silicon can start to behave badly. Note: with proper cooling your card should shed 40-50 degrees in seconds, once the application pushing it is terminated. If it does not cool down that quickly, you probably have a heat dissipation issue.

Story:
It's not Shakespeare, but it gets the job done.I have no issues with it.

Headhits:
Yeah, they do seam to happen a lot, both sides, however there are no ramifications for the OpFor when this happens. For you, it means a trip to the medbay. Small mechs with MGs, don't let them get anywhere near you. :D I really don't have an issue with this.

Economy:
I'm sitting on over 7million creds, have 5x55 tonners in cold storage and one as a "hot" spare. i have about 30 other mech "parts", and countless weapons, etc. Argo is 4 slots away from being fully upgraded. My primary 4 mechs are all running upgraded weapons, at least 1, in some cases all weapons are upgraded (weapons with bonuses).

Not really seeing any issues with earning money. If you run it like a business, you will make a nice profit. (Sell those unused mechs!). I have only adjusted the contract from default, maybe 3 times. Really don't need to, the salvage will come anyway.

Overall:
First and most important, LOVE the game, can't get enough!

Would like to see the bugs addressed, and if possible a way to dial back the GPU usage (settings has no impact, even on relatively static screens GPU is screaming, which is very odd to me, used to write code in the 80s-90s this would be an issue for me.

Would like to be able to re-arrange the mechs in the mechbays, did not see anyway to do this (drag and drop would be the obvious).
Would like to see more mechs (of course).

I could go on and on, but it's probably already been said.

Excellent Job HBS! Will be playing this (in it's current state) for at least the next 6 months to a year. (If I like a game, I play it for a long time, I still play CIV 3, IMHO still the pinnacle of the series).
