Had this idea in another thread, and wanted to post it here to see if this would be possible or easy to do. We all know that rockets are really tedious to use, and thier super-high strat attacks (which I assume are high to make up for the tedious nature of thier use) can make for an unrealitic leveling of, say, England by mostly unguided rockets.

Here's a possible solution:
-Increase the IC requirement for rockets by a factor of 2 or 4 or so
-Decrease the strat attack to about half that of a bomber
-Make the rockets lose strength in each attack, and make them non-reinforceable, but don't make them 1-use shots. So a unit of rockets can attack, for example, 8 times before it's "used up". (Is this even possible?)

This way you could fix the micromanagement problem a bit, being able to send a rocket unit to strat-attack that would last for a while. You'd also fix the overpowered nature of rockets, as they'd take a long time of attrition to wear things down due to the low strat attack. This would model the nature of WWII rockets quite well I think. The only drawback would be that you'd see rockets "flying back" to thier base. Which would be weird looking but since they are non-interceptable it would just be a cosmetic thing.

Alternatively, you could allow rockets to be reinforced, but still make them lose strength in the attack. IC would still be required to replace the "used" rockets. In any case, is this possible? Specifically the removal of the "one use" nature of the rocket unit, and in it's place have a strength reduction.

I'd like to see some political clout come with the ownership of ICBMs and nukes in this game. Japan Surrendered after being nuked twice, but in HOI2DD it just doesn't have the same psychological effect, not to mention the lack of the detterent function that typified the arms race.
