I noticed that the buffs to all types of mobile class battalions given by the Mobile Infantry tenet omit both types of rocket artillery. This seems very odd and am wondering if anyone knows why?
I think there would be better ways to balance the doctrine as a whole if that's the purpose and the other explaination I've come up with was to avoid the tooltip looking bad like the image attached. The image is me manually adding the bonuses in the game files and it doesn't look great. Did they not get the buffs because it didn't work with tooltip formatting!?

None of the in-game techs (which includes doctrines) say they boost any kind of rocket artillery EXCEPT for the rocket artillery and rocket techs themselves.

I think this is an intentional nerf to Wundewaffe, (although given how widely Katyushas were used I'm not sure this should apply to motorized rocket artillery...) like how design companies don't give buffs to jet aircraft.

^EDIT: This is not right; as pointed out below rocket artillery count in the artillery category and thus get those boosts; what's happening here seems to be restricted to individual brigades rather than categories.

But let me be safe, let me ask resident reverse engineer @bitmode :

Do the brigades "motorized_rocket_brigade" and "mot_rocket_artillery_brigade" benefit from any buffs of land doctrines? (Perhaps by being considered as motorized or as mechanized?)
(This question now obsolete)

Yes, they are classed as artillery and line artillery, as well as army. So anything that affects those groups (mostly SF doctrine) would boost them. The line arty boosts only come from the dispersed support branch which is arguably still practically non existant, even after the +5% coordination. Artillery only comes from the shock and awe branch of SF doctrine. Army has a couple of boosts scattered across various doctrines.

The point of this post though is that MRA and TRA are missing from the list of speed/recovery boosts that applies to most other types of motorized, for what appears to be no reason. Also missing is motorized and armoured car recon. We also have MRA missing from the hardness-boost of the mek1 tech.

Ohhh, the other doctrines boost categories, rather than individual brigade types. Hmm.

All doctrines do that. Even MW. MW uses all_armour, all_infantry, and tanks. It will also occasionally single out specific battalions, like the various motorized and mechanized (in the tech in question and other places), and armoured cars.

They don't like Soviet. They don't give MW speed bonus to Katyusha. They give diesel engine of T34 only 2/3 the speed of gas engine, dispite the T34 has some of the best off road battle speed (best power/weight).

And the big faked 1937 tank research agreement! The faked seizing gold reserve decision. :)
