ROC question

I have a question would the capital of the ROC change if they had won the civil war? Would it still be located in Nanjing?

Edit: Just realized i posted in the wrong forum. To add on to keep it here would a new capital event work for a saved game?

It might...
Easiest way to fix this would just be to edit the savegame to move the capital to Beiping.

in context with history to game if the ROC did defeat the PRC starting from Taiwan what would the capital be?

I was curious since Beijing has been historically the capital of most dynasties, but because the Nationalist capital during WWII was at Nanjing, and since getting kicked off the mainland it was of course moved to Taipei. I didn't know if the Nationalist would of moved back to Nanjing or keep the capital at Beijing were it was setup by the Communist.

from what i know, in vanilla hoi the capital will remain Nanjing, however if you play CCIP (which is a must-have if you play any of the main chinese factions imho) you'll get an event where you can change it to Beijing once entire China is yours.

and to answer the other question regarding if nationalist starts only with Taiwan and manage to defeat the communists, i see no reason to why the capital would change from Taipei to anything else.

a new capital event would work, i'm 99% sure of that. and in case it doesn't, just change the capital in the savegame manually with notepad or something.

Taipei is the temporary capital
Nowadays Nanjing still is the de jure capital of Reupblic of China

i mean in-game... if he starts with only taiwan as owned provinces, the capital will remain taipei.
