Been enjoying my xenophobic military empire waltzing across the galaxy when i suddenly
noticed massive unrest warnings on all my planets.
Investigating this, i see that all the robots i had produced on every single planet had decided
to quit their jobs and become unemployed.

On all the worlds i checked, there were available jobs in the worker strata as either farmers,
miners or technicians next to those already being worked by their human counterparts.
Finding this a little bit weird i tried to play around with job priorities, but to no avail, only humans
would take up the job slot no matter what i did.

Next up was to play with console commands and gave myself the droid technology, no change
the damned toasters refused to work, preferring to stay in their boxes instead.
Then i gave myself the synth technology, still no change, they did not want to pick up their work
again.
Noticing the little shackle on the droids, i then went to AI rights and then gave the synths full citizenship,
that must have sparked some interest, since then immediately they picked up their equipment and started
to work in mines, farms and power plants all across my empire.

Is this intended logic? Seems pretty much like a bug to me, since ordinary robots should be able to
take up any kind of available job in the worker stratum without being sentient and having citizen rights.

Discovered the root cause of this with a little bit more tinkering.
Forgot i was running with the Glavius AI mod, which is a must-have these days...
Disabled the mod, loaded the save game and instantly all robots went back to work.
A second test was conducted by saving the game, then re enabling the mod and 2 game days
later all the robots were unemployed again.
Must be some checks that the AI mod does when assigning pops then, maybe something Glavius
migth want to look into since his mod is widely used

If u playing w Gladius AI mod, it could be the bug in the mod. I had the same thing and reported it in the AI mod steam forum, and it just got fixed

Saw you posted at the same time as i did the followup and looking at the steam thread i see the same issue being reported there
as well as with slaves. Good to know, and also learn to check that forum as well next time something weird happens.
Thanks for pointing me to the forum , now its just to wait until Glavius fixes it

I had a problem w both robots and slaves. It is fixed for me now is it not fixed for you? I just had to restart the game. Also i'm using the stellaris_test beta, and the separate AI mod specifically for the beta. \
