Robot Spiritualists

Hi folks,

Someone has probably mentioned (or experienced) this before but I couldnt find anything. Anyways, I was chill-playing a fanatical spiritualist and went for the Transcendence-perk. When I got it all of the pops that I had of my original species instantaneously turned into robots.

Now, I havent researched robots, nor was I in any way planning on becoming robots (or synths) at any point. But it still happend... as soon as I transcended.

So, has anyone experienced this before? Is it a bug?
