New Scenario for Vicky - Roaring 20's, Rising Sun, and the Red Tide (1919 - 1933)
Plans as of now...
Start date is January 1, 1919 - the beginning of the world's new era of "peace". The end date will be December 31, 1933.
We hope to have a map that is pretty well laid out, although there maybe some fine tunning needed.
We will try to illustrate as best we can the chaos and lost chances of those Post Versailles days with events concerning the Russian Civil War (and Allied intervention therein), the League of Nations (joining events, LN interventions in disputes, and a leaving event for the Japanese after the Manchurian invasion), Socialist or Communist revoution in Germany, The Soviet-Polish War, fragmented China, the Washington and Kellogg-Braind treaties, revolts in Africa, the Crash of 1929 (a hard thing to make into events), etc. The plan is not to hardcode history but to leave choices as fulid as possible (as long as thats realistic (for example, giving the Japanese the option to keep occupying Siberia after the other Allies have pulled out in the wake of the Russian Civil War despite the consequences).
Political Parties and Allies are something that have to be worked on and researched.
New Army and Navy Leader lists will also be required.

Well, the idea is simple. Make a scenario that goes from Versailles to the rise of Hitler, right to the brink of HOI but not quite. Technology during this time does not go beyond Vicky's range (almost every army was still using horses to draw artillery and had effective cavalry units). This was an age of turmoil in Russia as the Red and the Whites fought for control, the Allies threatened to intervene (in fact the Japanese sent troops as far as Lake Baikal), the Chinese republic was trying to reunify under the KMT while Japan agaitated against such happening. The threat of Soviet expansion into both Europe (sparking red revolution in Germany and France) and Asia (revolution within the KMT Chinese government and in Japan) was very real. With 1929, the threat became even more so. This is a great time to cover and its surprising no one has done this yet. Who's up for it?
