Road limit bug

Hi.

I've got a strange bug now in my city, never happened to me before.
I am unable to build new roads, it shows "Cannot create any more objects of this type" message.
The city is quite small, 65 000 inhabitants and on 7 tiles. I downloaded the "Show limits" mod and I got about 6 000 tiles used out of 33 000 tiles (I think this is the number).
I tried to load old safe, but after while this thing happened again.

Is there any way to fix this or is this save lost forever?

I think this is slightly different problem. In this 660 k city is possible that they just reached the limit, but my city is quite small and there's no possible way of having reaching the limit yet

Hi,

I too have this same exact problem! I started a city within the last month, and got it to about 60k population. Loaded it the other day and suddenly I could not build more roads, and the limit mod tells me i'm only around 6500 or so out of the 30k limit. My reddit post about it is here, you can find a picture of just how small the city is. Nothing anyone said there helped. I really do not want to abandon this city, I've put many many hours into it.... so can a dev shed some light here?

Rio, what's your mod list like? do you have a ton of custom assets? I use a fair many, but nothing road related, save Traffic++, which hasn't mattered before and I don't use the extra roads they provide.

And akeela, your post didn't help in any way, and i'm not sure why you linked that. It's very obviously not the same thing. that person maxed the game out. Just the fact that our cities are sub 100k is not normal for this issue.
