]
Jan 24: Settlers are sent to Jalisco. The Great Council is happy with the news that the fortresses are being constructed in the newly acquired provinces. Huron, brave brave Huron hopes he can head north. Maybe there is a route from the West to the East. From this new Great Lake to the lands of the Haudenosaunee
March 24: Success.Jalisco grow stronger, which is good. The investments are spread out more, with a little bit being given to each shaman,to aid in their respective dreams.
July 29: If this settler succeeds in Jalsico, then a city will almost certainly be founded there. The Great Council prays to the Great Spirit, hoping that success will come.However, he must prepare
Aug 9: Worrying news from Matagorda. Those damnable pale faces have set up a trading post in the next province. That is too close for comfort for some, but nothing can be done now. It is only hoped that nothing bad comes of these developments...
Aug 22: The settler leaves Mohawk for Jalisco. Farewell, brave men!
Oct 22: The settlers arrive safely in Jalisco. They are welcomed by Huron, and send word. The natives living there have agreed to join the Confederacy shows a little more faith. Send one more group of settlers, and the province will be ours. It will be done.
1514-
Jan 1: The new forts in Tenochtitlan, Michoagan and Tuxpan are completed. Another settler, hopefully the last, is sent to Jalisco
March 24, 1514: A new city, a new hope, a new era. Jalisco grows to a full city(pop 5606!)
March 24: Huron is very impressed. The natives here, they were peaceful. Maybe the word of the Haudenosaunee generosity has reached even this far. Huron now heads north.
June 17: Will wonders never cease? Huron finds a place called Mazatlan. A warrior is sent to meet with the chief of the natives of these parts. A settler is prepared to send off to this new place. But, before that happens, terrible news. The warrior sent to try and establish peaceul relations with the natives is dropped in fron of Huron, with only a torso. Huron engages the natives. They shall pay!
July 2-3: The sneaky devils. The last of them, hiding in a tree, is slaughetred, and a trader is sent. Huron will move onward.
Sept 7: Empalme, but something strange is here. Heads, on poles. In a clearing. Huron decides it is pointless to attempt peace. He attacks the natvies
Sept 8: Only one day later, Huron is ready to move on. Sometimes he wonders why they bother to resist. They end up just as dead.
Oct 19: Death in Mazatlan. The traders are killed. Another will be sent.
Nov 1 1514:The shaman in charge of the warriors has a vision. Great Stone holes, firing big boulders. [Level 3 land tech, artillery, yippe!
]
Nov 5-7: Huron, being more careful than usual, catches a raiding party. Supposedly, the natives in this province, Atlar, are planning to attack the Haudenosaunee War party while they sleep. Before he has the last of this raidng party killed, he learns where they are hiding. He attacks them first, wiping them out.Huron moves on. These empty provinces will make excellent trading areas. But not right away.
1515-
Feb 17: California? What is that?
Feb 17: Huron arrives in a place called San Bernadino. He will attempt to reproduce what he did in Jalisco. He only hopes he will not suffer for it. As such, a settler is sent immediately.
On June 28, 1515, a new colony is begun at San Bernadino. The natives seem to be peaceful. Let it stay this way.
Oct 7, a day that will live in infamy. The Haudenosaunee were viciously and undeniably attacked by the so called "pacifists" in the province of San Bernadino. Huron was forced to slaughter them all. He will not stay in this province.
