Will post the Spanish after the Russians, who are scheduled just after the French.

new update to my AAR.

also got a good idea for an event....

we don't need a tag for the Cisrhenian Republic (it was barely around), but we can simulate it through event. Basically, when France got the west bank of the Rhien after the Treaty of Basel, they formed the Cisrhenian Republic from Kleves, Trier, Mainz, Cologne and parts of the Rhine Palatinate they took etc. General Hoche was its protector, but he died in 1797, the year it was created. It was taken under French administration at the Treaty of Campo Formio and fully annxed into the France in Sepetmeber 1802.

so.....we could have an event calling for it to be created, and and if we say yes! we get prestige and the militancy of the germans living in the newly aquired lands goes down, if we say no, then we get minus prestige and the militancy for the germans increases a little. I'd imgaine that the local German aristocrats and clergy would eb upset by a republic being declared. And then in 1802 we have another event and same ideas as before, except its being "Annexed".

Perhaps we can simulate the other republics we cannot allocate tags to in this way, trhough event!

well done on finding the Spanish OOB's!!! very interesting!

Actually my adding of Israel is due to a dispatch written by Napoleon on April 20th, 1799 stated, and here is what was in it.

BUONOPARTE, COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE ARMIES OF THE FRENCH REPUBLIC IN AFRICA AND ASIA, TO THE RIGHTFUL HEIRS OF PALESTINE;

Israelites, unique nation, whom, in thousands of years, lust of conquest and tyranny have been able to be deprived of their ancestral lands, but not of name and national existence!

Attentive and impartial observers of the destinies of nations, even though not endowed with the gifts of seers like Isaiah and Joel, have long since also felt what these, with beautiful and uplifting faith, have foretold when they saw the approaching destruction of their kingdom and fatherland: And the ransomed of the lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness and sorrow and sadness shall flee away {Isaiah 35,10}

Arise then, with gladness, ye exiled! A war unexampled in the annals of history, waged in self-defense by a nation whose hereditary lands were regarded by its enemies as plunder to be divided, arbitrarily and at their convenience, by the stroke of the pen of cabinents, avenges its own shame and the shame of the remotest nations, long forgotten under the yoke of slavery, and also, the alomst two-thousand-year old ignominy put upon you; and, while time and circumstances would seem least favorable to a restatement of your claims or even to their expression, and indeed to be compelling their complete abandonment, it offers to you at this very time, and contrary to all expectations, Israel's patrimony!

The young army with which Providence has sent me hither, let by justice and accompanied by victory, has made Jerusalem my headquarters and my will, within a few days, transfer them to Damascus, a proximity which is no longer terrifying to David's City.

Rightfull heirs to Palestine!

The great nation which does not trade in men and countries as did those which sold your ancestors unto all people {Joel 4,6} herewith calls on you not indeed to conquer your patrimony; nay, only to take over that which has been conquered and, with that nation's warranty and support, to remain master of it to maintain it against all comers.

Arise! Show that the former overwhelming might of your oppressors has but repressed the courage of the descendants of those heroes who alliance of brothers would have done honour even to Sparta and Rome {Maccabees 12,15} but that the two thousand years of treatment as slaves have not succeeded in stifling it.

Hasten! Now is the moment, which may not return for thousands of years, to claim the restoration of civic rights among the population of the universe which had been shamefully withheld from you for thousands of years, your political existence as a nation among the nations, and the unlimited natural right to worship Jehovah in accordance with your faith, publicly and most probably forever {Joel 4,20}

When you try and apply that statement to me, you are in error and incorrect. I only add what was a very possible probability to my mods of historical based games.

Since Boney had that in mind, and if the siege of Acre would have been a French victory you would have seen France try to establish Israel as a foothold into the mid-east. So my adding it is a viable alternate historical possibility. Not the realm of fantasy a lot of other modders base their additions on.

most brilliant...great stuff....and good researching. I was gonna say that he did give the Jews a lot of freedoms and might have wanted to give them a state!!!

we'd need an interesting Revolutionary Israel flag though....how about the Revolutionary tricolour with the star of david in the middle? :D we just don't want to give them the current flag.

Kaiser, Yeah that is a good idea. you think you could come up with a design? As in this time period I do not see Israel surviving without France's support and total commitment. Too many big nasties around. :D

So, when are we gonna see another AAR update? ;) I am immensely enjoying that bad boy. :D

Also, posted the Spanish OOB.

Few things about Napleon in Egypt.

They said the expedition was to reinstate the Sublime Porte (Ottoman Government, especialy in Diplomacy) in Egypt who was effectively being run by the Mamelukes. In fact the French were required to hoist both French and Porte flags when they captured a town.

A Municipal Council was set up in Cairo, with Sheiks, French and Mamelukes taking office. Soon representatives of other towns like Alexandria were adde. But the Council pretty much issued the orders of the Supreme French Commander, who had de facto dictatorial power.

With the destruction of the fleet at the Nile, this caused a mjor shock to the Egyptians who now could see the French were not indefeatable. After a House tax was decreaed the people rose up. The Lt.Governor was killed and it was onyl Kleber from Alexandria with help from Bonaparte who stopped the rising. But putting their horses in the Azhar Mosque caused great offense.

This will help:
