Im not bothered, im enjoying this AAR for its humour [and seeing mighty Tibet crush people] so cheating [especially when its owned up to and shown to be for the logical purpose of making this AAR as entertaining as possible] doesnt bother me here.

Continue on oh mighty and fearless leader.

Indeed I shall! Onward to victory!

Nice one, Tsar! I have to say, you sure have lots of potential to be a field marshal :)

Sorry, could you repeat that?

But First
I traded with our allies again to get more of the technology we'll in the future invent for them to steal:

trade.jpg

This technology is important for our future plans.

The Battle for Kabul

Right, now we have our cowardly foes on the run, it's time to press the attack and take Kabul!

Kabul.jpg
*1

Once again the Japanese were obstinate and I had to brow-beat general Hata into listening to me. As well as deal with a few messengers who turned up with orders for him. The mountains can be very treacherous this time of year you know, what with the avalanches and the abominable death goats. Didn't we mention them? Oh well one of them probably ate the messengers..

Moving swiftly on, almost as swiftly as the Japanese messengers fell down the mountain, WOOPS, I mean almost as swiftly as an abominable death goat, We gathered our forces and attacked Kabul!

The Plan

kabulbattle.png
*2

Right, as you can see we expect the Afghans to use the fortresses built by the British during their occupation. We expect the vast majority of their forces to be holed up at the British Legation. It's a diplomatic building, but it's heavily fortified and well positioned, as you'd expect from the British Empire.

So the plan is this, Japanese forces will advance across the plains north of the city, they'll be fairly obvious so regrettably we'll have to cover them using smoke shells fired by our Glorious Artillery.

meanwhile, our forces, more used to mountain combat will sneak down the side of the hill we're currently positioned on, through the town of Spin Kili and along the Aamai ridge.

From there well move stealthily into the heart of the city and attack the Legation from behind.

Then we'll unite with the Japanese forces and assault the aerodrome and the city centre. Finally the glorious HAT will roll over the enemy in the southern defences and the Japanese will desperately try to defeat them at the wireless exchange.

With these locations in our hands Kabul will be ours!

The Battle

bwhahahaha.jpg

At 3am on the 20th of June 1942, the combined Tibetan/Japanese forces attacked the city of Kabul. The Afghans were prepared for us, as I suspected, and the battle was long and hard fought. However, by midday on the 21st, our Glorious Forces declared victory!

Kabvictory.jpg

And now... excuse me, I'm trying to drink some tea here!

next.jpg

Well the Afghans had now withdrawn their forces from Kabul and set up a temporary capital in Herat. It's quite an important city, so we'd need to take it before the Afghans will capitulate.

At this point, I was sitting drinking tea with General Jamyang, listening to the story about that time back in the day he was on guard duty and something happened. Again. (How he's managed to not have any more stories after 2 wars I'll never know. I suspect he may be senile...) And a messenger arrived.

I had just taken a sip of tea and he told me the Japanese had attacked Herat and won. I was so surprised that I spat my tea all over the messenger. Then, still surprised I took another slurp of tea and spat that all over the messenger. Still not feeling like I had quite made my point I took a third slurp of tea and the messenger held up the scout report in defence. So I swallowed my tea this time and read the report.

*1 as you may notice, I'm still in charge, that's because Japan kept going "NO EXPEDITIONARY FOR FOR YOU!" and taking them back. Bloody AI >.> I tried to use the acceptall cheat to make them accept military control, but it didn't work for some reason... So I had to load up as them and make them give me expeditionary forces again.

*2 Once again I have ridiculous luck digging this stuff up, that's a map of Kabul. From 1942. Yes, really. And yes, it looks like I'm coming from the wrong direction, but looking over some maps, that's the road you'd probably arrive from Feyzabad on.

*3 Holy Army eXpeditionaries (scouts)

Oh Good God NO!

ohcrap.jpg

Just as I was planning the victory parade through Herat, news reached our Glorious Command Centre that the Japanese had attacked Perl Harbour.

I wasn't too concerned, then I learned the Americans had joined the Allies, and so by extension we were now at war with the United Kingdom.

Now, I will admit, I was planning to declare war on them next, however, I had planned on doing so when I had some troops that weren't at the opposite end of the country from the capital!

noes.jpg

Ok, we can still salvage this, it'll be months before they can travel far enough to cut our forces from supply, and at least we're not in the Axis who'll probably declare war on the USSR soon!

Time to enact operation Land Grab!

drastic.jpg

Unfortunately the British rallied a defence a lot faster than I'd hoped...

eeek.jpg

At least we managed to annex Afghanistan before the end of the year, removing 14 divisions from our border:

The State of Affairs.

So, it's the beginning of a new year, and here's how our Glorious-but-currently-threatened Empire stands:

And here's how our government is organised:

diplomacy.jpg

This is going to be interesting... I may have to betray the Japanese to save myself. Also, we're probably technically winning the war with the UK, so we may be able to convince them to trade some provinces to up in exchange for us withdrawing our glorious army... maybe.

I'm most concerned at how fast the Americans got here, they deployed 6 divisions to India already, and Japan is attacking on land from the other side, this could make things... inconvenient.

Strange that the Japanese army wasn't bogged down in Bangladesh. Usually evolves into trench warfare with 10 divisions on each side of the line. US is the big threat here. The British forces are no doubt rushing to Bangladesh were the gravest threat is. But the US probably had around 100 divisions waiting to land somewhere. You need your strategic goatbombers and strategically goatbomb the USA into submission otherwise your dead .

Ive almost forgot China is on our side, with their masses you have a great cannon fodder, maybe they will more likely realize that they are fools than the stubborn japs did and will grant you military control

Stand and fight!

The Rise of Greater Tibet
flag.png

Ok, so the situation is bad, but not terrible, the Japanese are still on our side, and the Tsar Youth pulled up trumps:

ok.jpg

With the extra manpower we're forming militias as quickly as possible to hold back the British offensive.

building.jpg

In the West the our Glorious HAT is keeping the Americans from attacking Afghanistan, so reinforcements are unlikely for the forces that have pushed into our home land. So, it's time to make them pay for their arrogance!

flanking.jpg

We'll cut them off from supply before they can cut us off, luckily our allies aren't entirely incompetent and have rushed reinforcements to the north.

Hold the Line? No, ATTACK!

newmilitia.jpg

The training of our young recruits went well and by mid March we deployed 3 more divisions of militia and sent them into Nepal, quickly annexing their undefended territory! To the South the incompetent cowardly and puny Japanese forces crushed the even more incompetent cowardly and puny British forces. The Japanese are lucky to have us as an ally!

May.jpg
May, 1943

As you can see my plans bore fruit, we've pushed the British back from Tibet itself and we've made gains towards the important city of Karachi. Karachi is a major goal for us, it'll provide a sea port so our Chief of Navy will have something to do other than feed the ducks.

karachi.jpg

The Empire loses, a New Power Rises!

empire.jpg

India, July 1943

Well it was a hard fight, and didn't go entirely according to plan. If the impatient and incompetent Japanese had only listened to me and given me military control last year, my grand plan would have delivered our Glorious Empire the entirety of India. It seems the Japanese are selfish as well as cowardly.

As it is, at least HAT secured Karachi (in the process destroying 3 British Divisions) which gives us an important strategic window into the Indian Ocean.

Not only that, but annexing Nepal gave us enough industrial capacity to support researching 2 things at once!

woo.jpg

Planning for the Future

I don't intend to let Japan take all the glory, so:

construction.jpg

As you can see we're starting on transport ships for our future conquests:

expansion.jpg

My priority target once they're complete is Sri Lanka, there are rich mines in the region which will feed our hungry factories!

Later we'll tackle the British puppets in the Middle East. I'm hoping the Japanese will be too preoccupied with the Americans, allowing our Glorious Empire to expand across the British territories while their puny nation takes on the Americans.

Yes, things are going well for our Glorious Empire, but then, was there ever any doubt?
