Any idea on taking pictures of events. It seems that I can not take screenshots when an event is on screen.
Are you using the game's own screenshot button? Also, while we're on the subject, are you using a PC or a Mac? (I know next to nothing how stuff works on the latter.)
Yes, and PC.
If you don;'t mind, I'm using different pictures for the ministers.
.Okay, makes this a bit easier.
Step 0 - Open a new file in Paint (or equivalent).
Step 1 - Start the game.
Step 2 - Set up the stuff you want to capture (fire the event, in this case).
Step 3 - Press Prt Sc
Warning - do not copy anything else from anywhere between these two steps or the image you just got will disappear.
Step 4 - Paste whatever you just got into the Paint (or equivalent) file.
Step 5 - Don't forget to save.
(Step 6 - repeat the above for multiple screenshots)
That should work.
They weren't good?
I was also thinking earlier, do you want all the pics in black and white?
.
It's just that I didn't know who any of the people were in the photos. I use the editor to make ministers quicker, and the ministers you made didn't come up in the list. I am still use what you gave me though.
I guess ya had the pictures in the wrong folder. (Maybe I should've just set the stuff in a way that it could've been slapped atop your earlier mod stuff with no problem)
No it's the ministers don't show up. I recreated your ministers, and some photos to get rid of the white around them like this. You didn't do anything wrong. I don't know why they don't show up. Here when I get done I will show you the final product.
Ah, you didn't want the frame around the pictures... whoopsie, I'll keep that in mind. The ministers not showing up is pretty odd still - are you sure you replaced the original ministers_eng.csv file?
Yes, but it is fine. I have already fixed everything, so it is not an issue now. I'll be done in about five minutes.
Alright, that's good.
Question about the editor (never used it myself): is it responsible for the odd mishmash of minister ID's? I mean, in the original game the ID's of different countries' files were generally separated by about a thousand or so, but in your mod it is not so. Or is this just a personal preference of yours? (This'd neatly explain the missing ministers, 'cos they could be under duplicate ID's that I didn't notice were already in use during my quick skim through the minister files)
It's the editor. It picks the closest ID that is not in use.
