My first game with utopia dlc. I got to the circle of life ascension perk and built the ringworld. And it was GLORIOUS. I set one of the habitats as my capital. Then, I got horizon signal event. So, why not finish it? I went all the way till I researched techs for loop institute and energy thing. Then i should get the last tech for the piramid thing. And here is the point where things didnt go as they should. Third tech didnt spawn. I waited around 20 years for it and then started tinkering with the console and game files. I managed to add it by making it a starting tech in game files. Then i built the piramid on my ringworld habitat. The worm-in-waiting spawned and I broke the game. Sun was transformed into the black hole as it should but ringworld transformed into mess. All my habitats became uninhabited, and parts of the ringworld between them transformed into tomb worlds. In the end I ended with 4 ringworld habitats suspended in the nothingnes and four tomb worlds between them, all circling around black hole. I reloaded save from before building the piramid and relocated my capital to normal planet and then went on with the event. This time everything was fine. I wanted to reload earlier save, from before starting the whole horizon event and then relocate my capital before getting the event to see if this will fix the problem with third tech not spawning but didnt have time to do this so far.

If I may add to the first part of your post: Twice now, I've played a game where I farmed black holes until I got the signal, played it as you're supposed to in order to embrace the worm and most events happened as they should have (scientists vanishing, the Captain that was, the Loop Temple, the strange colony, the primitive cult, the "first" metamorphosis) and I researched and built the first two techs/buildings, but the third tech never came. No Omega Theory. Even after waiting a century. I was wondering if I was just super unlucky, but as it turns out, it might be a new issue with Utopia.

it was the same in 1.4.
with the exception that everything in a system will be turned to a tomb world (so .. 8 tomb worlds for you)
