RGOSpread folder empty

hi guys, I have an issue that I need some help with. About 300 hours ago I noticed that I had not gotten an 'electrified' event in forever. So tonight I decided to look at my event folders to see if anything was wrong when I noticed that the above folder is completely empty. I don't know if it's the correct folder for the event but it seems that way. I have never messed with any of these folders so I don't know why this one is empty.
can anyone send me a copy of the files for this folder?

Can't you just reinstall the game instead?

I could but i don't understand how they went missing in the first place. anyway i found the files on github. fixed the problem

It's not in 3.04.
Probaly as of this change:

Effects of Machine Tools, Tractors, Nitroglycerin, Distribution Channels & Electricity inventions are now country wide instead of being spread through province event spam

I suppose...
Just a quick uneducated guess.

I haven't played VicII for a while, but i believe to recall one simply gets a modifier for the whole nation
now, instead of a province specific event.

I wish they kept them. I enjoyed seeing the stories of the new tech showing up in these provinces for the first time
