Of all the content in Collie/BftB I was definitely the most interested in the reworked Bulgaria and the Dev Diary only cemented this. Things got so bad, I started reading into Bulgarian history of the interwar period. So long story short, expectations were high. And expectations were met.

Like any sane adult would, I chose the royalist path and supported Tsar Boris III. :D I liked the new internal faction system and could see it being used for the Soviet Union and Italy. I didn't delve into this mechanic too deeply though and got rid of all four factions asap (integrated Zveno and Agrarian Union, eliminated the National Socialists and the Broad Socialists). The revision of the Treaty of Neuilly sur Seine turned out to be suprisingly easy, compared to the Treaty of Trianon. What limited rearmament the most though was - expectedly - manpower. I was amazed by the bonuses for land doctrine research you get, I don't remember any other country with that many. Suprisingly neither PP nor stability turned out to be an issue.

Here's a few questions/remarks to Bulgaria:
- Why can't Tsarist Bulgaria intervene in the Spanish Civil War?
- Both the "Rebuild the Army" focus and the "National Military Academy" give you the "Bulgarian Army" national spirit, which is removed by the "Prussia of the Balkans", a focus with which I may or may not have had sexual relations with. If however you choose "Prussia of the Balkans" before having completed "National Military Academy" you can get both national spirits, "Bulgarian Army" and "Prussia of the Balkans". Is this intentional?
- There were some errors in the German translation of the focus tree.
- If you choose the "Power to the Tsar" focus you not only have Boris as your country leader but also get him as a national spirit, which I find a bit odd.
- The "Bulgarian Irredentism" national spirit is not influenced by how close you get to gaining the disputed territories, this seems counterintuitive to me. Shouldn't the Treaty of Craiova have an impact on the buffs or the debuff?

Regardless of this bickering, I love the reworked Bulgaria and look very much forward to check out the other reworked countries.

I did a game earlier today and found it to be very easy for many of the reasons stated above. I had all of Europe by '44. Coring the Balkans is way too much manpower combined with "take down the giants" and "prussia of the balkans".

This is porbably intentional, since Yugoslavia now can have Petar II as both leader and national spirit.

Hello, do you know why "Buy italy/german equipment" decisions soften show that it will "conclude to zero tank/artillery/vehicule accordingly to germany/italy actual researches"?
