Having to rely on Capitalist to build the factories is my biggest gripe about Ricky, only because my capitalists build the same types of factories when I would prefer them to build different.
So I end up installing a State Capitalist or L-F gov so I can expand/build factories of my choosing. When Automobiles come out, my Caps never build those factories, so I build them.
Seeing as how you can get a gov in power that would allow you to build what you want in Ricky, and with the additional elements of realism (the colonization is more realistic), I think Ricky adds much needed elements to the game.
However if you want to play a game where Russia can colonize Africa and be a major colonial power in Africa and Asia, well Vicky is for you. It depends on what you want as a player, and I like the ability to have the ability to choose.
