Revolutionary Republic and Revolutionary Empire are europe-only. But why?

Countries whose capital is outside of Europe can't become revolutionary republic or empire even if they go through the same revolution. They simply turn into constitutional republic.

WHHHHHHY?! Why can't non-europeans have a complete revolution? It's not like other europeans nations are restricted from forming rev republic that are not France.

I assume that the whole thing was tied to the Renaissance and the forward thinking foundations that were put there (which was a European thing) that led the French into such. And as such the devs thought it would only affect European countries. Makes a bit of sense.

Now if only it didnt change the damn flag....

To have a French style political Revolution, you need a relatively centralised state and a specific, universalistic ideology to export it. There were no French style revolutions in non western nations before mid-19th century. You could make up events for westernised Empires, but it would be stretching it a bit.

Because the Constitutional Republic models governments that evolved from independent-minded pioneer societies, while the Revolutionary Republic models governments that evolved from collectivist, settled societies.

This is stupid- Latin America has a great amount of Revolutionary Republics at later start dates- colonial nations ought to be able to form Revolutionary Republics.

This. Brazil even managed a Rev. Empire in 1820 for instance.

Qing never has it. Ming loses it after westernising.
