The following is a short clip from a newsreel appearing in Japanese theaters in March 1946:


Arise, Workers of Japan! We bring you word of the International Proletarian Revolution.

In the Caucasus, we have made a great victory over the Imperialists. The Communist International has made war against those that would oppress the people and workers of Azerbaijan, and we have won! Yes, it now joins Armenia in the People's Republic of Transcaucasia!

In Europe, the Austrian Empire has joined the Entente, and the war against France and her allies. The Imperialists are uniting in their struggle against the people, but the Revolution will still sweep them away! The tides of history are still on our side!

In South America, the Revolution continues after halting so suddenly years ago. The People's Republic of Central America has declared war upon the corrupt states that occupy the rest of its namesake. And the forces of the People's Japanese Army is at the vanguard of the struggle against Central American Imperialism!

In Europe, it would seem that the Austrians have succeeded in breaking the stalemate that existed between French and Russian forces. Already they have annexed and subjugated the people of Bavaria. With French and Syndicalist forces unraveling, the Entente might soon be in France herself.

Better news comes out of Central America. We have won a great victory! Now only our friend and ally, the People's Republic of Central America, lies between Mexico and the Panama Canal.

This is not enough. We now must bring a more powerful American state into the ComIntern, and free its people. And we shall! Yes, we have declared war upon the Imperialists in Brazil, to further the cause of the International Revolution!
