That wouldn't work (sadly) but writing for free is fun anyway. It's enjoyable and fun. Agreed, and I'm happy at how welcoming Paradox is to AARs.

They weren't perfect, they were badass. And loyal to their men as their men were loyal to them. Loyalty is a beautiful thing. Actually Villa's army was pretty modern and well funded.

Huh, didn't know that about Villa's army. And on the subject of Zapata, I love how he just stuck through with his ideals until the very end. I mean, he successfully revolted against Diaz in Morelos, in 1911 he revolted again against Madero and occupied Morelos again, then he fought against Carranza until he was assassinated.

And with the new update, if things go downhill, and playing Villa is impossible, but you want to keep the revolutionary spirit I suggest playing as Zapata. Even with their outdated units, those 5 guys they have are really useful. I mean, I went to war with Carranza (with Villa's help) in September 1914, and I must've won by or before spring 1915.

Ally with Villa, let the AI get distracted by him, seize Mexico City (one of the victory points), advance further, once Villa's land is annexed by Carranza, the US leave Veracruz, and they hand it to Carranza. Send troops there (as it's the other victory point) and take his capital, and boom, you won the Mexican Revolution. :p

Yeah, he got funding from the US and money from robbing banks... Agreed, Zapata was a true revolutionary. Firm to his ideals and loyal to his men. Both were popular, Zapata among the farmers and Villa among the cowboys and ranchers.

Yeah will, who knows! This is basically a short AAR, and it maybe shorter yet! Interesting strategy, but I like the idea of trying to survive as the Villistas. I just hope there's an event where we get troops to fight.

I mean, check your decisions box to check if you can enact partial mobilization, or the foreign volunteers event. From what I can see, there's no exact event that gives troops.

Actually good news! We got the army back, they were temporarily disbanded but they've arrived! A chance lives still! In fact, I'm posting my next update soon.
