I suspect that monthly probability of a revolt doesn't equal to displayed revoltrisk... How to calculate true RR?

If a rebelion happens in occupied province, does the rebels represent land technology of the occupied country or of the invader? Which technology level determines their morale?

Revolt risk (RR) depends on whether the province in controlled by a player or the AI. RR for a player is a percent chance per year (so divide by 12). RR for the AI is a percent chance per month.

If the rebels fight a player, the rebels have the exact same tech level and morale potential as the player's army. If the rebels fight the AI, I believe the old rules apply. Rebels have their own tech speed and investment. Rebels gain technology more slowly than the AI. The AI has a better chance of beating rebels than a player does. If there is a rebellion in one of your provinces, an ally or enemy army can wipe them out easily for you.

There is a trick where you attack rebels with a tiny force at the end of the month at 50% maintenance. Then you follow that attack with a large force arriving on the first of the next month at 100% maintenance. That is the only way to get the morale advantage over the rebels once the rebels have reached their full morale potential.
