Revoking Baronies

Do you do it? Do you consider it to be cheating? Is revoking castles only kosher in your books? Do you stop after you can fill your demense with county titles?

I didn't see a thread on this specific topic, so I've started it up. How do you use and/or abuse your little orange-circled vassals who can't even raise a proper banner to protest?

Do you pretend you're an iron-fisted tyrant, ruling all the land? Perhaps clearing out the old guard and making way for your own loyal vassals?

The only time I really do it is at the beginning of the game when I'm playing an independent, one-province count or duke. Since I always create my own ruler/dynasty, I just play it as the victor in a civil war who's "cleaning house" and booting out recently defeated enemies. Having the extra settlements directly under my control goes a long way to helping with early wars against other one-province opponents, as well as giving me an income that can actually be noticed.

I revoke baronies for unlanded sons. I revoke bishophorics for unlanded sons who I want out of succession. It gives enough of a relations hit that I don't feel it's inappropriate.
