In a multiplayer game I was hosting, I was unable to abosrb or split clans. It would say that I couldn't because I had a holding that was sieged down, though no where was I being raided or fighting any wars. So after putting down a rebellious vassal, who was angry because I was unable to grant out any lands to the clans, the only thing I could do was revoke his kingdom level titular clan title. It turned him into a minor clan underneath with a silver border and yellow ribbons around his portrait. Upon my character's death though was when things got really messed up. My capital changed to my former vassals clan camp, while my old and true camp which was upgraded alot more and had better tech was still there. So I was getting the inefficient land management warning becuase I had 2 clan camps. I was unable to switch my capital back to my previous one. I also own 2 titular clan titles, one with my dynasty name, the other with my previous vassal. In the clan managment screen it showed the only 2 clans there were both my clan. Though my previous one had higher population. My old vassal who became a minor clan, was "peacefully usurped" by another clan who surrounded his only holding.
