Occasionally I have made use of the revoke title mechanic with widely varying results. Sometimes the starting power is very high (75+) and potential conspirators add big additional bonuses. Other times the starting level is very low (~32) and co-conspirators add almost nothing (+2). Your intrigue rating seems unrelated to this. So a couple of questions:

1. Does anyone know what the underlying mechanic is for setting your base and co-conspirator numbers?
2. Do any of the spy master missions help with this plot?

Thanks.

It scales with the size of your empire and the power of your vassals. When you get big, each vassal has a very small percentage of realm power so you need tons of them to use the plot. All the clicking at this point makes it all but unusable unless you want carpel tunnel.

My targets occasionally yield, especially when they really, really love me, like after pressing their claim in addition to other bonuses.

I would really appreciate a "tick all" button. It would be very useful, when you need all those 1% plot power mayors and counts to support the plot.

I have yet to see the target of the plot peacefully give up their title anyway. The benefit of the plot is that you don't get smacked with Tyranny, and that's about it.

It depends on the traits of the target and your character diplomacy as well , if i read the file correctly. If.. ;)

Well, I forgot the other benefit: You can revoke an additional title because they refused to give one up. If you're feeling mean. It's amusingly easy to exploit this as the byzantine empire. Revoke doux title, plot to revoke county, he refuses, you win war, he loses two titles, you shove him underneath the new doux.
