Now that I got the offset to work, I also added some 4/5/4 star arrangement flags and a US coat of arms that conforms to the post 1782-adopted coat of arms of the United States of America, as authorized by Congress.

For shields, the legal and official coat of arms would be the least controversial, although the flag-based shields look spiffier. Likewise, since it is the legal coat of arms for the USA (as specified by current Federal law and datin back to 1782), it would be best to use it. For flags, unfortunately and alas, they all pretty much look the same at that level of reduction. Probably the 4/5/4 or 3/2/3/2/3 with seven red stripes, since these may have been the most common historical variants.

In any case, they're better than what is currently available (although I need to shift my colors just the tiniest hair--my original source for process information was a little off. Now that I have the official sources, the blues and reds will be more correct.
