Currently, I cannot go on a hunt because my character has Lunatic.
This is not a real health condition. I, personally, am a lunatic IRL, and this doesn't keep me from engaging in regular physical activity.
Good treatments for chronic conditions like gout, syphillis and cancer should make it fine to hunt. Injures, and acute conditions, should be prohibitive. I'm not sure if Stressed or Depressed prevent you from hunting, but they shouldn't. Your personal combat skill should affect the probability of positive outcomes of hunts, so stress and depression should reduce probability through that mechanism, but people actually hunt and do things like that to relieve stress and depression.
