It strikes me as odd, that the axis powers have this event, yet "axis-Spain" is allowed to keep its conquests.

It strikes me as odd, that the axis powers have this event, yet "axis-Spain" is allowed to keep its conquests.

For Spain to join the AXIS, GER would have had to have promised more than just token land conquests, more than likely including much of the former French colonies in North Africa + anything they got for "stabbing Fance in the Back,' from France proper.
