Immortal characters should, if they have the "zealous" trait, the "content" trait, or have lived for 100 years, get an option to retire to a monastery. This option would allow said character to abdicate to their heir and gain the "monk" or "nun" trait while remaining in court. This way we can play as a new character without our immortal having to die.

In the current game, the only way to get this effect is to concede to defeat in a "war against your tyranny" was and then cloister the immortal as their heir, or get excommunicated and hope that the Pope chooses the "retire to monastery" decision.
