Retail Key?

I bought Mount and Blade Warband at Best Buy and the sticker that should have the CD key is missing a letter. This is kind of ridiculous. I mean I've seen some pretty bad mess ups on games before: bad patches, bad protection software, ect. But, this probably takes the cake.

By process of elimination I went through the alphabet and got the last letter of the key. It's silly that I had to do that though.

Instead of your one digit brute force attack you simply had to ask Kallocain (paradox community manager) on this forum for help. She helped others with the same issue, because she has the complete list of the keys to give the people the last letter.

I have gotten a few people who had one digit too few in their key. We did a little research, and I'm not sure where it went wrong.

When there has been print errors with other games, the key usually is not there at all.

But yes, brute force or contact me, and I can help!

Thanks for posting this thread. I had the same problem, and via trial and error I found the last letter.

hi, i have a similar problem, except that i didnt even get a sticker with a serial key. i dont suppose that anyone knows how to help with this?

PM Kallocain (above in this thread) with your problem and be prepared to be asked to show proof of purchase.

Also be prepared to maybe have to wait a few weeks - she might be on a summer vacation.
