Im sorry if this has been mentioned before but how is this handled in the game? And what I mean is this.

I have a tank division in africa, I lose half my tanks, where will they come from? Will they just show up or do I have a stock of tanks in Cairo to supply from, same goes for fighters, CAS and even some tactical bombers I presume.

My ships in the med needs supplies and fuel, is that supplied from Egypt or is it sent through the air from the UK.

I think you get my question.

Also, do I have a say in this, maybee I dont want all my fighters in Egypt, what if the axis suddenly launches an air campaign and my reserves are depleted in the UK. Of course the question is invalid if its all one big pile.

Which I think is unfair to the Axis as this was one of their advantages in the war, going around Africa it would take a long time to send units to N Africa and Asia for the allies. By then maybee Egypt was lost.

the stocks are off map. every major city produces supply. can they be reached from your homeland either by land or sea they have an intact supply route. So when units have an intact supply route that can be traced back to your homeland you will get replenishment for air wings and equipment from this off map stock. Should your units be under supplied the will get reinforment with a slower rate and have higher attrition.

Replacement equipment is linked to your supply network (not the same tho). If your units are out of supply they also wont get any new replacement equipment and you wont be able to simply disband encircled divisions to retrieve the manpower and equipment.

Replacement equipment actually can get sunk if shipped to oversea theaters, so securing the supply routes is even more important than just keeping the supply up. It is, just as supply and strategic resources from oversea, shipped from and to your capital in order to be useable. You can sink incomming rubber shipments just as you can sink outgoing rifle shipments for example, denying the enemy both the resources to use and to resupply and reequip his oversea troops.

for the a.m. example "unexpected enemy air offensive in UK and less important fighter units in africa draining replacement pools" there may be a game mechanic already in place.

I assume that the priority/normal/secondary replenishment buttons which are already in place with land divisions applies to airwings as well ? So the more important units check first for replacements and then the lesser ones ?

My units in egypt lacks 100 spitfires, they are sent to egypt by boat around africa, which takes a while. My stock was 100 but is now 0?, germany launches airwar over uk and i suffer losses, Will i then restock from the "convoy" or DO i wait for new ones to be made.

The equipment on convoys should be in limbo so to speak, is it?
